When we started praying about launching Temple Church, our prayer was simple: that God would build a home, not an event or a brand, a home where people could meet Jesus, grow in faith, and find real community.
For us, church is a people, not a place; a living temple built of ordinary lives, shaped by His presence and grounded in Scripture. We believe God’s Spirit doesn’t live in buildings made by hands, but in His people – we are the temple He’s building.
It’s about carrying the hope of Jesus into our city and beyond. From day one, we’ve been so grateful for the people God has gathered, ordinary people choosing to live with purpose. In a world chasing trends, our eyes are fixed on the eternal, trusting the same faithful God who’s built generations before us to keep building through us.

We don’t gather for noise; we gather for Him. Whether we’re worshiping, praying, or just sharing a meal, we expect God to meet us in real ways. His presence brings healing, clarity, and transformation. That’s why we wait on Him before we act - because when He shows up, everything changes.

Before purpose or progress, there’s welcome. You don’t have to perform to belong here. We meet people where they are, see the gold in them, and walk together in grace. At Temple, love shows up first, grace holds steady, and no one stands alone.

We’re not chasing perfect; we’re choosing formation. The world tries to shape us daily, but we’re learning to follow Jesus through His Word, spiritual rhythms, and community. We value being transformed over looking put-together - grace by grace, day by day.

Our faith moves - it doesn’t stay in the room. We’re sent into our streets, workplaces, and relationships carrying the hope of Jesus. We live generously, love boldly, and bring light wherever we go, because our lives are not our own. We are kingdom carriers - ordinary people, living on mission.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s spirit dwells in your midst?
1 Corinthians 3:16
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, perfect in love, wisdom, and power, and worthy of all worship.
The Father reigns with love and purpose, sending His Son, Jesus, to rescue and restore us.
Jesus lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and will one day return to make all things new.
The Holy Spirit is God with us – our Helper and Guide – leading us into truth, comfort, and transformation.
We believe God is faithful, unchanging, and invites us to be part of His story of redemption.
Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1-5, 2 Corinthians 3:17, Genesis 1:26
We believe the Bible is God’s Word – His way of revealing who He is and how much He loves us. It is made up of sixty-six books that tell the story of God’s plan for the world, pointing us to Jesus from beginning to end.
We see the Bible as our guide for life, showing us who God is, how He works, and how we can know Him. It was written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, making it true, trustworthy, and full of wisdom for today.
At Temple, we believe the Bible is more than just a book, it is a living invitation to know God personally and walk in His ways.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, John 1:1-14, Luke 24:27
We believe that every person is created in the image of God, designed to live in close relationship with Him. In the beginning, humanity walked in perfect harmony with God, but by choosing our own way, sin entered the world, breaking that relationship and bringing separation from God.
But God, in His love, made a way to bring us back to Him.
He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life, die in our place, and rise again, defeating sin and death. Through Jesus, we are offered forgiveness and a restored relationship with God. Salvation is a gift of grace – not something we can earn, but something we receive by faith.
We believe that Jesus is the only way to be reconciled with God, and through Him, we find hope, freedom, and new life.
Genesis 1:27, 3:1-7; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12,19; Isaiah 59:1-2; John 14:6; Ephesians 2:4-9; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10
We believe the Church is not just a building or a weekly event – it is a family of believers united by faith in Jesus Christ.
Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are made right with God and adopted into His family. This means we are not only connected to God but to each other.
The Church is both local and global, made up of people from every background who follow Jesus and live out His mission.
We gather regularly to worship, pray, learn from Scripture, and support one another as we grow in faith. Together, we are called to share the good news of Jesus with the world, showing His love and truth in everything we do.
We believe the Church is God’s chosen way to bring hope, healing, and restoration to the world.
Matthew 16:18, Acts 2:42-47, Ephesians 2:19-22, Hebrews 10:14, 1 Peter 2:9-10
We believe that Jesus gave His Church two sacred practices to celebrate regularly: Baptism and Communion.
Baptism is an outward declaration of an inward change. It symbolises Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, and our new life with Him. It is a public statement of faith, showing that we belong to Christ and have been made new.
Communion is a moment where we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. The bread represents His body, broken for us, and the cup represents His blood, poured out for our forgiveness. When we share in Communion, we remember His love, His sacrifice, and His promise to return.
We also believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit – a distinct and ongoing experience that empowers believers for boldness and ministry. While every believer receives the Holy Spirit at salvation (Ephesians 1:13), we see in Scripture that a deeper empowerment can follow.
Jesus Himself breathed on His disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John 20:22), and at Pentecost they were filled with power (Acts 2:1–4). Later, Peter and John prayed for new believers to receive the Spirit’s power (Acts 8:14–17).
We believe the gifts of the Spirit – such as healing, prophecy, and wisdom – are still active today, given by the Spirit as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:11). We are encouraged to seek these gifts earnestly (1 Corinthians 14:1) while trusting that the Spirit distributes them according to His perfect wisdom and purpose.
We believe in the personal, glorious, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. His coming will fulfil all prophetic promises, bringing final restoration to a broken world. On that day, Jesus will establish His Kingdom fully, banishing sin, sickness, death, decay, and Satan forever.
We believe that those who have trusted in Jesus for salvation will be raised to eternal life with Him, enjoying perfect unity with God in the new heavens and new earth – a place where every tear is wiped away, and all things are made new (Revelation 21:1–5).
We also affirm the reality of eternal separation from God for those who reject His gift of grace. Hell is a real and conscious separation from God’s goodness – a consequence of rejecting His love and salvation. This truth compels us to share the hope of the gospel with love and urgency, knowing that Jesus is returning soon.
Our hope is anchored in His promise: that all things broken will be restored, all things wrong will be made right, and His reign will be unending.
